Single strand - Laboratory grade quality
Single strand sequencing provides an overview of the clone sequence, starting from one or two initial reactions using our universal primers or primers indicated by the customer. Based on the resulting sequence data, new primers are designed and synthesized to perform the next run of sequencing reactions. This process is repeated until the entire region on one strand has been covered. Our in-house DNA synthesis production site enables us to offer you the fastest possible turnaround times.
Double strand - Publication grade quality
To submit sequences in a higher accuracy for publication in GenBank or other scientific journals, we strongly recommend to sequence both strands of DNA using our Double Strand sequencing service. Starting from sequencing with a couple of primers we proceed with selecting new ones derived from the ends, ‘till the whole insert/fragment is sequenced on both strands. Our in-house DNA synthesis production site enables us to offer you the best and fastest possible delivery times.
In both service our skilled staff aligns the contigs and the customer receives the assembled sequence and each single electropherogram.
